Sundays Front Page

I manicured The Boys crusty stump. I busted out the garden shears and clipped off the semi-translucent flap of a tip where the clamp had flattened it. Of course I stayed away from the large black cord remnant blob. I was concerned that the diaper had been bumping into the stump and irritating it. Of course I tuck in that section of diaper to help prevent this, but it still hits it. The cord had bleed a little bit because of this. So I reduced its size by chopping it down a tad.

Sunday morning, while a friend was over enjoying watching our boy spaz out, which is not typical of him yet, he lost his stump. I unbuttoned his long-johns-with-feet-pj’s and it was gone! No more stump. I didn’t expect it to fall off so soon. I screamed, Lilly gasped, and our friend freaked and jumped off the couch in fear of sitting on it. Everyone froze, then began scouring the furniture and floor in search of the stump. We searched frantically for it. After giving up the search, I headed back for the couch with baby in arms. I noticed it on the front page of the Sunday Breeze lying on the floor beside the couch. It landed right beside a thumbnail image of Hillary Clinton, with the caption explaining the suspension of her campaign. That’s what The Boy thinks of Clinton. That’s my boy!

Jay, followed you over from your comment on Postulates and Pasttimes. Love the look of your site and this first post I read cracked me up!

In my house, my dogs would have found it and would have probably been chomping on it before anyone knew it was gone!!!

If you don't have a dog yet, get one! They are great vacuums when you have kids!

We got a cat in hopes of using her as birth control. Of course three months after we got her we also got pregnant. The cat hardly even eats her own food let alone tid-bits on the floor.

Perhaps I should go to my fathers animal hospital and borrow a dog when Lilly asks me to vacuum the house....

Thanks dude!

That seems along the lines of those freeks that eat the placentas after birth for good health.

Although, polish that bad boy up...
